Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350.

  2. In a large mixing bowl or a stand mixer, combine all ingredients until incorporated. Dough will be smooth but clumpy.

  3. Press and roll dough onto a piece of parchment or a baking mat into a rectangle and until it is about 1⁄4 inch thick.

  4. Cut shortbread cookies into desired size and place on a cookie sheet.

  5. If desired, you can use a fork and gently poke holes in the cookies for an aesthetic look.

  6. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.

  7. Let cool completely.

  8. Optional: feel free to dip shortbread in some melted dark chocolate!
