Grown in Kyoto for centuries, UJIDO Matcha blends old world tradition with unparalleled, new world taste. Our Ceremonial Blend is a forever staple; velvety, rich, and perfectly creamy for any kind of matcha creation.
I have recently been obsessed with Matcha. I truly love the flavors and the overall quality of this product. I particularly enjoy preparing matcha lattes using oat milk, with Pandan extract and a touch of honey to sweenten. This provides me with sustained energy, without the typical caffeine-related drawbacks such as crashes or headaches. I have found that a single tablespoon is sufficient at least as a personal preference.
For years, I was on a quest to find high quality matcha that I could enjoy every day without breaking the bank -- and I'm so glad I found Ujido! The quality for the price is unmatched. Unlike a lot of the "everyday" matcha brands I've tried (which are often chalky and bitter), Ujido's matcha is consistently fresh, bright, and well balanced. I've been drinking Ujido's ceremonial blend in my matcha lattes almost daily for over 5 years, and I'm so grateful to have found them!
I have tried the 2oz and 4oz bags of this matcha blend a couple times and they’ve consistently have been of a nice, fresh quality. I think I may have gotten unlucky with the most recent bag because it’s just exceptionally bitter upon first use, even more than my past bags when they’ve lasted for about a month. I think ordering the 12oz quantity is just a risk since now Im stuck with a lot of it. It was the first time I checked the best by date also, and it was past four months, so I dont know if that had anything to do with it.
seriously, one of the best matches I’ve ever had! i have it every morning and it never disappoints me to feel energized, but also calm at the same time!
Whisks well. Doesn't clump. I sweeten with honey and savor
