4 Matcha Cocktails for a Happily Focused Buzz

Ginny Matcha

Ingredients:

¼ cup mint leaves
1 ounce honey
1 ounce lime juice
1½ cups water
2 - 3 ounces gin
1 teaspoon matcha
Ice

Instructions:

In a cocktail shaker, muddle mint with honey and lime juice. Add all other ingredients and shake until chilled. Pour through fine mesh filter into two glasses. Enjoy. Try with our sweet matcha to skip the honey.

 

Matcha Highball

Ingredients:

4 ounces chilled club soda
2 ounces whiskey
½ ounce honey
½ ounce lemon juice
¼ teaspoon matcha

Instructions:

In a cocktail shaker, add whisky, lemon juice, honey, and matcha. Shake until well mixed. Pour through a filter into a chilled, ice-filled, tall glass. Add club soda into the same shaker and swirl to pick up remaining matcha and honey. Pour this through filter into glass.

 

Matcha Mojito

Ingredients:

1 cup water
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 teaspoon honey or maple
1 teaspoon matcha
2 lime slices
4 mint leaves
Ice

Instructions:

In a chilled glass, muddle limes and mint. In a cocktail shaker, add all other ingredients. Shake until chilled. Pour over ice in a tall glass. Enjoy.

 

Matcha-mosa

Elevate your next brunch with a matcha mimosa. Stylish, satisfying, and sweet.

Ingredients:

Dry champagne
1 teaspoon honey
6 ounces water
1 teaspoon matcha
Fresh oranges

Instructions:

Heat water close to boiling. Whisk in matcha and honey. Chill. Pour champagne into glass, leaving a slight gap at top. Add a teaspoon or two of matcha mixture to the glass. Squeeze a couple ounces of fresh orange juice in. Stir gently. Enjoy.
