Bulletproof Matcha vs. Bulletproof Coffee

Bulletproof Matcha vs. Bulletproof Coffee

Chances are you’ve heard of the newest trend in health drinks: Bulletproof coffee. This buttery blend of coffee incorporates coconut oil and grass fed butter to bring healthy fats into your diet and gives you a huge boost of energy.

Now, we’ve always argued for matcha over coffee, so of course we’re going to do the same for bulletproof coffee!

If you’re already a fan of bulletproof coffee, try using matcha instead of coffee one day to make your morning beverage! Or, if you’ve avoided this drink because of the coffee in it, you can try it with matcha for the first time.

Matcha is a healthier choice all around because of it’s high level of antioxidants, L-theanine, and fiber. It also has a higher rate of thermogenesis, which helps boost your metabolism. When you add this to the awesome MCT fatty acids from the coconut oil and butter, you become a fat-fighting powered machine!

Here’s the recipe:

Bulletproof Matcha
1 cup water
½ to 1 tsp Ujido Matcha
1 Tbsp Organic Coconut Oil
1 Tbsp Grass-Fed Butter or Ghee

Directions:
Heat up water to a boil. Add in matcha, coconut oil, and butter. Mix with an inversion blender, or blender for best results until frothy. You can also use a whisk or shaker bottle. (Be careful when shaking and blending, as steam can build up. Use caution when opening lid!)

Enjoy your new keto-friendly energy powerhouse!
