Great Tea

I ordered my tea and it got caught in the two snow storms that blanketed the east coast in the last two weeks. Sadly, while it was delayed, I ran out of my existing tea and had to use another brand for a couple of mornings. I have a whole new appreciation for UJIDO! I am happy to say my order arrived yesterday and I enjoyed it with my breakfast this morning.

The best matcha ever

I have tastee several matchas ever, by far this is the best matcha. Perfect color, perfect creaminess!!

Not the same after new packaging.

This matcha used to be so good before they switched the packaging. The quality went down big time — it now tastes more culinary than ceremonial. I no longer recommend. Tastes cheap.

We haven't changed the formulation with the new packaging. Matcha is a natural product, so it varies from batch to batch as the tencha leaves come from different farms. We try our best to curate the same flavor and quality each time we mix, but sometimes it isn't possible with the harvests on hand. The 2025 harvest was affected by a colder than normal spring that slightly lowered the quality of ceremonial grade. Your palate may be refined enough to taste this subtle difference.

I love this matcha!

I have been using Ujido Ceremonial Matcha for years now. I love a cold or hot matcha latte in the morning and a matcha shot before lunch as a delicious pick me up!
